Top ten movies to watch in free time

 Top 10 movies you should definitely watch when you get free time. This list contains action, horror, comedy, adventure, animation, mystery, thriller. Thes movies are my personal favourite movies from my library of movies so I think you will also enjoy these movies. Some of you might have already watched these movies so stay tuned to get more list of movies to watch in your free time.




  1. Dead Poets Society



               Dead Poets Society is a 1989 American drama film directed by Peter Weir and written by Tom Schulman. The film, starring Robin Williams, is set in 1959 at the fictional elite boarding school Welton Academy, and tells the story of an English teacher who inspires his students through his teaching of poetry.

                The Super Mario Bros. Movie is a 2023 American computer-animated adventure film based on Nintendo's Mario video game franchise. Produced by Universal Pictures, Illumination, and Nintendo, and distributed by Universal, the film was directed by Aaron Horvath and Michael Jelenic and written by Matthew Fogel. The ensemble voice cast includes Chris Pratt, Anya Taylor-Joy, Charlie Day, Jack Black, Keegan-Michael Key, Seth Rogen, and Fred Armisen. The film features an origin story for the brothers Mario and Luigi, Italian-American plumbers who are transported to an alternate world and become entangled in a battle between the Mushroom Kingdom, led by Princess Peach, and the Koopas, led by Bowser.


  1. Puss in Boots: The Last Wish

 

              Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an animated adventure-comedy film that follows the daring exploits of the feline hero Puss in Boots. When Puss learns that he has only one life left, he sets out on a quest to find the mythical Last Wish, a magical object that can grant any wish. Along the way, he faces many dangers and enemies, including the Big Bad Wolf, a bounty hunter who wants to capture him. Puss must also reunite with his old flame Kitty Softpaws and team up with new friends like Perrito, a loyal dog, and Goldilocks, a rebellious girl. Will Puss be able to restore his nine lives and fulfil his destiny?

4.My Girl

                                                           


 

          My Girl is a 1991 American coming-of-age comedy-drama film that follows the adventures of 11-year-old Vada Sultenfuss, a tomboy who lives with her widowed father and his quirky assistant in a funeral home. Vada’s life changes when she befriends Thomas J., a shy boy who suffers from allergies, and develops a crush on her teacher. Along the way, she learns about love, loss and growing up.


5. Tomorrowland


                Tomorrowland is a sci-fi adventure film that follows a young inventor and a former boy-genius as they embark on a mission to a mysterious place called Tomorrowland, where their actions affect the fate of the world. Along the way, they encounter dangers, secrets and wonders that challenge their beliefs and destiny. The film is inspired by Walt Disney’s vision of the future and the theme park land of the same name.


6. Venom

                                                   


     Venom is a 2018 action-adventure sci-fi film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, a journalist who becomes the host of an alien symbiote called Venom. Together, they must stop the evil plans of the Life Foundation, a bio-engineering corporation that wants to use the symbiotes for their own purposes. The film is the first in Sony’s Spider-Man Universe and was directed by Ruben Fleischer.


7. Kung Fu Panda


              Kung Fu Panda is an animated comedy adventure about Po, a clumsy and lovable panda who dreams of becoming a kung fu master. His life changes when he is unexpectedly chosen as the Dragon Warrior, the one who can defeat the evil snow leopard Tai Lung. With the help of his idols, the Furious Five, and his mentor, Master Shifu, Po must learn the true meaning of kung fu and save the Valley of Peace from Tai Lung's wrath. 





8. Thor


          Thor is a 2011 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name. It is the fourth film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU). The film follows Thor (Chris Hemsworth), the god of thunder, who is banished from his home realm of Asgard to Earth by his father Odin (Anthony Hopkins) after reigniting a war with the Frost Giants. There, he meets and falls in love with astrophysicist Jane Foster (Natalie Portman) and learns to be humble and heroic. Meanwhile, his brother Loki (Tom Hiddleston) plots to usurp the throne of Asgard and unleash an ancient evil upon the Nine Realms.


9. Encanto


            Encanto is a Disney animated musical comedy film that follows the adventures of Mirabel, a Colombian teenage girl who is the only member of her family without magical powers. When she learns that the magic of their enchanted house is in danger, she decides to save it with the help of her eccentric relatives and a mysterious candle. The film features songs by Lin-Manuel Miranda and is directed by Byron Howard, Jared Bush and Charise Castro Smith.

10. Unfriended


            Unfriended is a screenlife horror film that follows a group of friends who are haunted by the vengeful spirit of their former classmate, Laura Barns, who committed suicide after a humiliating video of her went viral. The friends are forced to confront their secrets and lies as they chat on Skype, while Laura exposes them one by one.
